My life story: I arrived at the shelter in July 2025, together with my brother, Banjo. Our mother belonged to a homeless woman in Lagos who sadly passed away. After that, a kind person with a farm took us in and cared for us for over a year. She looked after us with love and managed to find a new home for our mother. Unfortunately, that person had to move and could no longer keep us, so she brought us to the shelter — knowing we would be well cared for and have a chance at finding a new home.
My nature: I’m a somewhat shy and wary dog, shaped by the unstable life I’ve lived so far. I don’t easily trust people I don’t know, and I feel much safer when I’m with another dog. But with patience, kindness, and gentle walks, I eventually open up and show my sweeter side. I’m naturally timid, so I’m looking for a caring family — one that respects my pace, understands my personality, and is willing to give me the love, time, and safety I need to truly thrive. I’ve always lived on the streets, so it would mean a lot to have a home with some outdoor space where I can feel free and at ease.
